AR · Reconciliation & Automation
A technical assessment presented as a finished product.

An assessment business case: it rebuilds a client's receivables balance, reconciles it against accounting, and proposes automation with n8n, AWS and a support AI agent.
Context
A technical test for GetOnTop on receivables for “ABC INC” (2023-07 → 2026-04), reconciling the operational database against the GL.
The design problem
A technical assessment is usually a notebook or an Excel. The challenge was for it to read like a product: executive dashboard, navigable reconciliation and an automation path.
Design decisions
Navy hero with context chips (Client, Currency, Period, Sources)
The brief becomes part of the design: whoever opens it knows the exact scope before scrolling.
Three ranked CTAs: executive dashboard, Excel, presentation
Each reviewer enters differently — visual, analytical or business.
Dark-hero / light-body contrast
Separates the narrative from the working data. Two modes in one piece.
Visual system
- Gold accent over navy and over white
- Bordered metadata chips for the brief
- Navigation by artifact, not generic section
The highlight
Turning an assessment deliverable into a navigable piece: the reconciliation “bridge” as its own view and an infographic that sums up the case.
